We just moved into a new apartment and the lay out of our living room with our sectional was not ideal. We really only had one option as to where a tv would go but block our window. We also wanted to buy a new larger tv and decided to save up for it seeing how the few we had look at were close to $1000 or more. I came across a video of a girl who lived in a smaller apartment and was commenting on how she saved spaced by having a projector. Needless to say I starting looking into this option for us. I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion I loved the idea and it would be ideal for us and the layout we have.
After diving deep into learning all about the best projector and what lumens we would need to ensure we would be able to watch tv during the day. I stumbled across this projector which was about $60 with the coupon going on at the time. It came with a screen but I also looked into a screen that we could mount to the ceiling which was $100. I was truly blown away. I could have a screen that was 100 inches (bigger than the tv we were even looking at) for $160 which was so cheap!! I talked to my partner and we decided to try it out.
We read the reviews on this projector and knew we would probably have to by a sound bar to increase the sound quality. Once we got the projector and screen delivered we set everything up that night. The sound is not bad at all. We still want to by a sound bar at some point but it’s truly not necessary the sound is pretty good. I am so so happy we decided to go this route. We love watching movies and shows. The picture is very good day or night. We have hosted our friends for ufc fights and everyone has loved it and thought it was great picture. I cannot say enough great things about this projector. My brother said he is going to purchase one after seeing ours set up. It’s light and small so it sits on our shelves above our couch very easily. I guess the one negative comment I will say about it is that I personally wish the power cord was just a little longer so it would reach to behind our couch. It is about 4 feet or so. It’s not insanely short and not a huge deal. We have an extension cord to run it to the outlet. I’ve had it was about two months and have no issues.
If you’re looking at buying a projector, buy this one. You cannot beat it for the price!

BLUF: If you just need a cheap projector to view movies, sports, or TV shows and you’re not a stickler for image quality that needs to be ultra crisp and detailed, this is worth the buy when on sale.
I bought this projector because I am setting up our backyard outdoor living space and we want to be able to do movies outside for the kids, plus have the capability to host friends and family over and watch movies or football games. A bonus for us is being able to take this on the go when we get our RV as well.
Size wise it’s not too big which makes it very portable. Audio from the projector is not very good in my opinion for outdoor use so you will need to link a Bluetooth speaker which will fix that issue, but if indoors and not noisy it should suffice. Video is decent, the center of the screen is very sharp but blurs slightly towards the edges. The colors are not quite as good as even the most dirt cheap LCD/LED TV but then again, to get a 100+ inch screen like you can with this you’d be spending 40~100x the price of this projector.
I personally wouldn’t use this as my primary viewing screen for content, but you certainly could if you aren’t a stickler on quality and are on a very tight budget. I bought this at 60 bucks so for that price I think it’s a wonderful deal. Add a Roku/Fire Stick for content to stream and a Bluetooth speaker for better audio and it’s quite a potent system for outdoor living on a budget!
